Role description
Data Analyst Safety Data Sheet Technician On behalf of our chemical industry client, Procom is searching for a Data Analyst Safety Data Sheet Technician for a contract role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Greensboro, NC office. Data Analyst Safety Data Sheet Technician - Job Description: Support the creation, update, and distribution of Safety Data Sheets for U.S. products. This role works across technical, regulatory, legal, and commercial teams to ensure SDS documents are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time. The position also helps identify data gaps, manage document changes, and support SDS generation through SAP EHS. Data Analyst Safety Data Sheet Technician - Responsibilities: Develop and publish Safety Data Sheets for U.S. products Generate and distribute compliant SDS documents in support of business needs Collaborate with technical, regulatory, legal, marketing, and other stakeholders Coordinate updates to commercial product SDSs and active ingredient SDSs Identify information gaps and follow through to enable SDS creation Work through SAP EHS to generate complete and compliant SDSs Recognize, communicate, and help resolve SAP EHS process or output issues Review and proofread technical documents for accuracy and completeness Track changes and communicate new or revised SDSs to contributors and stakeholders Document analysis work clearly and in a reproducible manner Data Analyst Safety Data Sheet Technician - Mandatory Skills: Experience creating, updating, reviewing, or managing Safety Data Sheets Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong planning and organizational skills Thorough attention to detail Ability to work cross functionally with a wide range of stakeholders Ability to identify process gaps and resolve or escalate issues Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Professional Data Analyst Safety Data Sheet Technician – Nice-to-Have Skills: SAP EHS experience Smartsheet experience Knowledge of OSHA Hazard Communication standards Knowledge of UN GHS classification system Knowledge of EPA/FIFRA classification and labeling Data Analyst Safety Data Sheet Technician – Assignment Length: This is a contract position through 12/31/2026.
