United States Digital & IT Houston On-site We are seeking a Data Engineer specialized in data ingestion and cloud modernization to build and operate scalable data pipelines. Modernize ETL/ELT processes into Azure and Snowflake ecosystems. Implement CDC, incremental loads, schema evolution, backfills, and reprocessing strategies. Build reusable ingestion frameworks, templates, and best practices. Develop cloud-native ingestion solutions using: Azure Data Factory / Synapse, Azure Databricks / Spark, DLS Gen2. Develop shared components, Python libraries, and integration templates. Promote standardization across the data ecosystem. Implement data quality checks (completeness, freshness, duplicates, schema drift). Set up observability: logging, metrics, lineage, health dashboards. What we expect from you • • Qualifications: • • - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering. - 5 years of hands-on data engineering with strong focus on ingestion & pipelines. - Strong SQL and Snowflake experience. - Python for processing & automation. - Experience in batch, CDC, and streaming ingestion.
