Role description
Title: Environmental Data Specialist
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46225 (Fully Onsite)
Duration: 6 months
Pay Range: $22/hr - $29/hr

• Attention to detail is a must for this role. All submissions must include a basic typing/data entry test result for review
Job Description
• Update database and share site with data for all new, recertified, or amended profiles.
• Update share site with current approvals and Notification of Treatment Standards forms.
• Technical regulatory review of all new, amended, and recertified waste profile data (DOT, RCRA, Land Ban, and miscellaneous notes). Review for internal profile inconsistencies.
• Efficiently track and run reports that could require an advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Validation of shipment data for waste tracking.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
• RCRA and DOT Regulatory compliance or Quality or Government Regulation experience preferred.
• Manifesting and profiling hazardous and non-hazardous waste experience preferred.
• Pre-assignment and/or pre-hire customer-specific drug and/or alcohol testing may be required by certain customer-contract requirements. Such testing may include urinalysis, oral swab, drug hair follicle testing and/or alcohol testing.
Other Skills
• Strong understanding of MS Excel or similar database software
• Knowledge of word processors, like MS Word
• Excellent typing and transcription skills, including typing at fast speeds.
• Ability to research and collect data.
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Time management and organization
• Multi-tasking
