Role description
Job Title: Data Analyst Location: Spring TX. Duration: 12 Months Contract Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for importing, cleansing, validating, and analyzing data to identify trends, generate insights, and support decision-making. You will also consolidate and present findings in the form of charts, graphs, and tables, while ensuring data quality and accuracy. This position requires a self-directed professional who can work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate is an expert in their field, with the ability to transform raw data into actionable insights and improve overall data processes. Key Responsibilities โ€ข Import, cleanse, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources. โ€ข Consolidate and present findings through reports, dashboards, charts, and visualizations. โ€ข Identify patterns, trends, and insights to support business decisions. โ€ข Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency across reporting deliverables. โ€ข Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver meaningful analysis. โ€ข Apply domain expertise in Upstream Drilling & Completions datasets to provide actionable insights. Required Skills And Qualifications โ€ข Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. โ€ข Proven experience in report generation and data analysis. โ€ข Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). โ€ข Proficiency in SQL and experience with Spotfire or Power BI. โ€ข Hands-on experience with Databricks, Python, and data engineering (preferred). โ€ข Experience working with Upstream Drilling & Completions datasets (required). โ€ข Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. โ€ข Professional certification in data analytics (preferred, but not required).
