Data Analyst

Job Title: Data Analyst Work Mode: Hybrid – 2 days onsite (Tuesday & Wednesday), 3 days remote Location: Trenton, NJ Note: Only W2 will work hence, NO C2C/1099. Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to support analytics and reporting initiatives. The role involves working closely with Research Analysts to extract, analyze, and validate data using SQL, App Studio, and WebFocus. The candidate will also design data models, ensure data quality, and support automation for analytics and reporting processes. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with business and research teams to understand data needs and analytics goals. • Extract and analyze data from large, complex data warehouses using SQL, App Studio, and WebFocus. • Design and document data requirements, models, and transformation rules for new data warehouse structures. • Conduct data validation, profiling, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy. • Create data flow diagrams to illustrate data mapping and lineage. • Work with technical teams to identify reliable data sources and maintain consistency across systems. • Support automation and efficiency improvements in data processes. • Analyze BI tools like WebFocus and Tableau to confirm data usage accuracy. Qualifications • Strong experience in data analysis, data modeling, and warehouse design. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. • Proficiency in SQL, WebFocus, and App Studio. • Experience with DB2 databases and preparing data for Tableau visualization. • Ability to identify and resolve data quality issues. • Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics and reporting.
