ATS Migration Lead Location: London / Welwyn Garden City Contract: Fixed Term, 6 months, Full Time Rate: Up to £650 per day About the Role We are looking for an experienced ATS Migration Lead to manage the transition of our recruitment systems to Avature. This is a key role ensuring a smooth migration that maintains technical integrity and business process continuity. Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering & Analysis • Lead workshops and interviews with business and technical stakeholders to capture functional and non-functional requirements. • Translate business needs into technical specifications for Avature configuration and integration. • Document process flows, data mappings, and user stories to guide development and implementation. Migration Strategy & Technical Design • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and vendor teams to design scalable, secure integrations. • Support data migration planning, including field mapping, validation rules, and legacy system decommissioning. • Ensure technical solutions align with business processes and user experience goals. Stakeholder Engagement • Act as the bridge between business teams, technical squads, and vendors. • Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, presenting options and recommendations. • Build trusted relationships across HR, Product, Technology, and Compliance teams. Delivery & Implementation Support • Provide ongoing support during development and testing phases. • Assist with UAT planning and execution, ensuring business readiness. • Monitor risks and dependencies, escalating issues as needed. Ideal Experience & Skills Essential • Proven experience in system migration or implementation projects, ideally involving ATS or HR platforms. • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, and data flows. • Ability to navigate both technical and business domains effectively. • Skilled in producing clear documentation and artefacts for engineering teams. Desirable • Experience with Avature or similar platforms (e.g., Workday). • Familiarity with recruitment workflows and HR systems. • Language skills or experience working on international rollouts.
