Role description
Contract Opportunity – Semantic Data Analyst / Architect - IMMEDIATE START (min 2 weeks) 📍 UK-based (remote with occasional workshops in London with clients) 📅 6-month initial contract | Inside IR35 | ~£500/day - permanent will be considered. We’re supporting our client, a specialist tech consultancy working on large-scale public sector transformation, to find a Semantic Data Analyst / Architect for an immediate start. This is a niche and high-impact role: you’ll design and develop a semantic data layer to connect policies, systems, and outcomes — helping government teams make better use of their data. What you’ll do: • Build and refine the semantic/ontology model (concepts, entities, relationships). • Translate policy and operational rules into structured data models. • Work closely with senior leadership, policy experts, and technical teams. • Support the client in testing hypotheses and exploring use cases. What we’re looking for: • Strong background in semantic modelling, ontologies, or knowledge graphs - MUST HAVE. • Ability to navigate complex organisations and simplify technical detail for senior stakeholders. • Applied experience (consulting, data architecture, public sector, or similar). • Eligible for SC clearance (BPSS as minimum). 💡 Perfect for someone with both strong analytical depth and communication skills, who can bring meaning and structure to complex data environments.
