Job Title: Senior Data Analyst/Engineer with Strong PySpark
Location: McLean, VA/ Richmond, VA (Onsite)
Duration: 9 months contract – W2
Description:
• Lead meetings with internal customers to determine data needs
• Requirements mapping and documentation to support engineering partners
• Metadata registration and data governance activities
• Configuring data quality rules and testing
• Coordinate ETL pipelines testing across multiple areas and validate results
• Strong communication skills - legacy Client business, data engineers & DFS team - what data is required to accomplish tasks
• Python, SQL, core analyst responsibilities, building dashboards and reporting.
Team Info:
• Responsible for bringing in data from all finance users
• Bring data for finance customers
• Team of 11 DAs supporting the Data Engineers & ETL Pipelines
Role Info:
• Hands on Data Analyst role with strong Data Analysis, SQL, & Python background.
• Gather reqs from the customers and fulfill those reqs
• Requirement mapping and documentation
• Metadata registration
• Support data controls
• Data quality checks, tested, testing of the data pipelines
• Support creating test cases & troubleshooting ETL pipelines
