Overview:
Power BI developer builds complex dimensional data models, dashboards, and reports from the bottom up, visualizes compelling data stories on the report canvas, collaborates with other teams to engineer revolutionary agency wide data solutions, develops and implements data visualization solutions.
4 or more years of Power BI experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
EXPERIENCE-
Required Qualifications & Skills:
8 Years: Mastery in data analytics, creating complex reports
4 Years: Using Power BI creating dashboards and interactive visual reports.
4 Years: Create, test, and deploy Power BI Scripts (Python,M and DAX) as well as execute efficient deep analysis.
1 Year: Previous experience working with Texas state agencies
4 Years: Prior experience in data-related tasks.
1 Year: Source Control, Git/BitBucket.
1 Year: AS and its dataset (.sas7bdat) .
1 Year: Jira.
1 Year: BI tools ( SAP, Tableau)
Contract Details:
The primary work location(s) will be at 90%, may be required to meet on-site in Austin, TX at times.
1701 North Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas 78701. The working position is Hybrid - On Site and Remote.
Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the Texas Education Agency. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed.
Services are expected to start 09/01/2025 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2026. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 704 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.
