Company Description Florida Analytics & Data Strategies (Florida ADS) is a Florida-based political analytics and microtargeting firm building permanent, cycle-independent data infrastructure for pro-democracy campaigns, parties, and issue organizations. Florida spends tens of millions of dollars each election cycle renting voter data, models, and digital targeting from national vendors, only to lose all learning at the end of the cycle. Florida ADS exists to change that by building locally owned, Florida-specific voter intelligence that compounds across elections, with a particular focus on No Party Affiliation (NPA) voters and other under-modeled electorates. Florida ADS does not treat digital advertising platforms as “black boxes.” Digital and programmatic delivery are integral to our analytic process, providing real-world testing environments that generate evidence about voter behavior. Analytics roles at Florida ADS are directly involved in designing, interpreting, and retaining that learning, so insights improve over time instead of disappearing after Election Day. Florida ADS is inspired by the data-informed ecosystem that transformed Georgia into a durable battleground, with a focus on year-round analytics, retained learning, and tight integration between data, messaging, and strategy. We are a growing firm entering our proof-of-concept phase with clear pathways for advancement, leadership, and long-term influence on how Florida politics is done. Role Summary Florida ADS is seeking a Data Analyst to support voter targeting, message testing, and performance analysis for campaigns and organizations across Florida. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in applied political analytics, with mentorship from senior leadership and room to grow into more advanced modeling and strategy work over time. This role is not expected to independently design complex predictive models or own digital media buying. It is an applied analytics role focused on executing, interpreting, and documenting data-driven insights within established frameworks, with mentorship and room for growth over time. Key Responsibilities 1. Voter Universe Construction Pull targeted voter universes based on: • geography • demographics • voting history • issue engagement Maintain accuracy, compliance, and documentation to ensure universes are appropriate for digital and programmatic deployment. 1. Digital & Programmatic Performance Analysis Support A/B message testing by: • preparing voter universes for clean test deployment • tracking which audiences received which messages • organizing performance data across platforms Assist with analysis of: • engagement and response patterns • differences between test groups • geographic and demographic variation in performance Help translate digital delivery data into: • internal reports • dashboards • summaries that inform future targeting, messaging, and strategy decisions 1. Data Cleaning, Integration & Quality Control Assist with: • cleaning and validating voter file data • merging datasets from multiple sources • identifying inconsistencies, gaps, or anomalies in data Serve as an early quality-control checkpoint to ensure analytic outputs are accurate, defensible, and aligned with defined frameworks. 1. Learning Documentation & Retention Maintain clear records of: • what messages were tested • with which voter universes • under what conditions • and what patterns emerged Contribute to Florida ADS’s growing library of analytic learning, ensuring insights are retained across campaigns and cycles. 1. Collaboration & Growth Work closely with senior analytics leadership to: • follow established analytic frameworks • ask smart questions when assumptions are unclear • progressively take on more responsibility as skills develop This role is designed to grow over time, with increasing exposure to modeling concepts, testing design, and strategic decision-making.
