Job Summary
The Software Engineer 4 will consult on complex, enterprise-wide software engineering initiatives focused on data analytics, business intelligence reporting, and modernized CI/CD enablement. This role supports large-scale planning and execution activities, driving the onboarding of enterprise applications into modern build and deploy platforms such as GitHub Actions and Harness. The engineer will leverage strong analytical skills to troubleshoot data and reporting issues while collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and reliable analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain BI reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Perform advanced data analysis and troubleshooting using SQL, MongoDB, and Excel.
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines for reporting and analytics workloads.
• Onboard enterprise applications into modernized build and deployment tools.
• Work with Containers and VMs to support analytics and reporting platforms.
• Analyze and resolve moderately to highly complex software and data challenges.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and business teams to meet deliverables.
• Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Contribute to best practices for reporting, deployment, and operational reliability.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, supporting complex, enterprise-scale initiatives.
• 5+ years of strong data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting experience, including SQL, MongoDB, Excel, and Power BI.
• 5+ years of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting experience, including development and delivery of dashboards and reports.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps tooling for analytics and reporting solutions, including GitHub Actions and Harness.
• 3+ years of experience working with Containers and Virtual Machines, including setup and operational support.
• Ability to collaborate as a team-oriented, proactive engineer supporting modernization initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience onboarding enterprise applications into modernized build and deployment pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across data, reporting, and deployment pipelines.
• Experience supporting production analytics platforms in regulated environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with product, platform, and DevOps teams.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is $69.00/hr - $74.00/hr. The contract length is 24 months.
