Role description
We are collaborating closely with a global alternative Asset Management group specializing in private debt, real assets, private equity, and capital markets strategies. Headquartered in Europe, it operates across multiple continents with a strong presence in major financial centers.
They are looking to build out their Data Hub in London and will begin by welcoming a Senior Data Analytics Engineer onto the team on a contract basis. You will play a key role in automating reporting processes, building dashboards, and delivering actionable insights for business stakeholders-primarily in Risk, Front Office, and Asset Management.
Title: Data Analytics Engineer

Location: London (4 days on-site required)
Daily rate: DoE
Key responsibilities:
β’ Automate and optimize reporting processes using Python, PowerBI, Azure and Databricks.
β’ Develop and maintain dashboards to support business decision-making.
β’ Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.
β’ Provide analytical support and solutions for Risk, Front Office, and Asset Management teams.
β’ Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines on Azure.
β’ Support the budgeting process and workforce planning by providing data-driven insights.
Key requirements:
β’ Proven experience in Financial Services (ideally with exposure to Quantitative Analytics, Risk Modelling, etc.)
β’ Advanced proficiency in Python, PowerBI, Databricks, and Azure.
β’ Strong background in dashboarding, data automation, and process optimization.
β’ Excellent communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders e.g. Risk Managers, Portfolio Managers, etc.
β’ Experience working in a multi-location, fast-paced environment.
