Data Application Analyst

• Job Title: Data Application Analyst • Type: Temp-to-hire • Remote, travel 10-15% We are seeking a Data Application Analyst to serve as a project lead delivering data-driven insights across Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Finance, and Executive Leadership. This role focuses on transforming complex, multi-system data into actionable intelligence that drives operational efficiency, cost avoidance, and digital transformation. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in advanced data analysis, visualization, automation, and machine learning solutions. You will work cross-functionally to identify opportunities for process optimization, build scalable digital solutions, and test data models that inform strategic and tactical decisions. Job Responsibilities: • Develop and implement digital and analytical solutions that address unmet business needs and unlock new growth opportunities • Enable strategic, tactical, and operational decision-making through advanced data insights and reporting • Extract, model, and transform large datasets into actionable insights using Tableau and Power BI • Determine optimal methods to collect, manipulate, model, and present data based on business requirements • Identify opportunities across functional teams where improved data, automation, or analytics can drive measurable value • Support Digital Transformation leadership by developing dashboards, tracking tools, and reporting solutions for major initiatives • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Finance, Sales, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams • Develop and support statistical models and scripts using Python and/or R • Assist in the design, documentation, and implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives • Support the development and deployment of RPA solutions using Automation Anywhere Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or Data Application Analyst role • Power BI (including development of semantic models), Microsoft SQL Server, Python, Tableau • Experience with RPA tools (Automation Anywhere and/or Power Automate) preferred • Exposure to AI or machine learning deployment is a plus • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders At Advanced Group, our commitment to diversity and inclusion in every part of our organization is crucial to fulfilling our mission and demonstrating our REAL values.
