Expected Duration: 6+ Months Potential Extension/Conversion: (High potential for extension or FTE conversion) Job Type: [FULL TIME (>=40 HRS WEEKLY) Pay Range: $75 /hr on w2 Work Schedule : 9/80 Schedule (Every other Friday off) Position Overview We are seeking a Data Scientist / Data Architect to support high-impact analytics initiatives within the Missile Solutions segment at L3Harris. This role focuses on transforming complex datasets into actionable insights through business intelligence, dashboards, and advanced analytics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enable strategic decision-making across supply chain, program performance, and financial operations. Key Responsibilities • Lead BI and analytics projects aligned with program and operational priorities • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPI frameworks • Perform data extraction and transformation using Snowflake, Palantir, and Alteryx • Support data warehouse and data lake solutions • Use Azure DevOps / Jira for task and workflow management • Drive self-service analytics and data governance practices • Identify process improvements and analytics gaps • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams for data pipeline optimization • Present insights to leadership in a clear, business-focused manner Required Skills • 2+ years experience with Oracle / relational databases • 2+ years experience with Snowflake, Palantir, or Alteryx • Strong experience with Power BI / data visualization tools • Proficiency in SQL • Experience working with large datasets and analytics Preferred Skills • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira • Knowledge of AWS / Azure / GCP • Programming experience in Python or JavaScript • Experience in Aerospace, Defense, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain Education • Bachelor’s + 6 years experience OR • Master’s + 4 years experience OR • 10+ years relevant experience Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance to support employees' health and well-being.
