Role description
We are hiring for Data Architect – Big Data, Data Platforms & Streaming
Location: London - Hybrid / 2-3 days Per week in Office
• Experience in Solution Architecture, Technical Architecture, or Lead Design roles.
• Extensive experience designing enterprise data platforms using Cloudera CDH/CDP or equivalent distributed data platforms across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Proven experience designing Data Lakes, Operational Data Stores (ODS), distributed storage, and large-scale data processing solutions.
• Experience designing and delivering large-scale batch, micro-batch, and real-time data processing architectures.
• Strong experience across data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, storage, APIs, and downstream consumption.
• Experience working within complex enterprise environments involving multiple vendors, systems, governance processes, and large-scale transformation programmes.
• Financial Services or Banking experience is highly desirable.
