Role description
Data Architect - Entertainment - Outside IR35 - £700 - £800 per day
We’re partnering with a leading international entertainment business to appoint a Data Architect on a contract basis. This is a pivotal role responsible for designing and delivering the organisation’s global Single Source of Truth (SSOT) model - a foundational data architecture that will power reporting, analytics, and future AI initiatives across multiple regions.
Reporting to the Head of Data and working closely with a Data Business Analyst, you’ll collaborate with a Global Data Team and subject matter experts across CRM, Marketing, Product Insights and Revenue Management. You’ll ensure scalable, well-governed data solutions that meet complex, multi-market business needs.
This is a high-impact opportunity to shape enterprise data architecture within a dynamic, customer-focused entertainment environment.
The Role
You will lead the architecture and development of a global SSOT data model supporting Revenue Management and consolidated CRM reporting. The platform is Snowflake-based and designed to scale across regions including the UK, US and EU.
Key responsibilities include:
• Architect and develop the global SSOT model across Revenue Management and Customer reporting domains
• Design Snowflake data structures optimised for performance, scalability, security, and regional variation
• Establish and champion modelling standards and reusable patterns across markets and products
• Partner with global data teams and business SMEs to gather requirements and validate models
• Define and document data integration mappings from CRM/CDP platforms into the Global Data Platform
• Produce clear conceptual, logical and dimensional models suitable for both BI/reporting and AI/ML use cases
• Deliver high-quality documentation including data dictionaries, lineage artefacts and decision logs
• Support project governance through milestone reviews, risk management and quality assurance
About You
• Expert-level Snowflake experience and advanced dimensional modelling skills (star/snowflake schemas, SCDs, data vault awareness)
• Proven experience delivering global or region-aware data models across multi-market rollouts
• Ability to design data structures suitable for both BI/reporting and AI/ML consumption
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience facilitating workshops across business and technical teams
• Excellent documentation standards including data dictionaries, lineage tracking and architectural decision records
