Contract Data Architect £650/day (Inside IR35) | Hybrid – One day a week onsite in the Birmingham | Minimum six months Are you a technically strong Data Architect who enjoys both designing and building within a modern Microsoft environment? I’m supporting a long-standing regulatory organisation that’s looking for someone to shape their enterprise data models and drive consistent design standards across the business. You’ll work across Dynamics 365, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and the Power Platform, taking ownership of core data architecture and governance. This isn’t a business-as-usual role, they need someone who’s comfortable rolling their sleeves up, leading engineering efforts, and influencing senior stakeholders. In the role, you’ll: • Develop and maintain Common and Semantic Data Models (CDM/SDM) • Guide and support a small team of Data Engineers • Help BI and reporting teams deliver scalable and reliable data products • Ensure governance, auditability, and performance are built into the data ecosystem • Work directly with Dynamics data If you’re free for a new project or know someone who might suit it, drop me a message and I’ll share more details.
