Data Architect - Google Cloud Storage

Hello, Looking for a Lead Data Engineer / Architect who has built scalable cloud data platforms and knows how to organize raw and curated data for downstream analytics. This person should be both technical and strategic: someone who can design standards, solve complex data challenges, and partner with business and engineering teams. Hybrid Roles in Irving, TX (3 days Onsite, 2 days Remote) Remote Option Not Available. Duration: 12+ months with possibility of longer term extensions Pay Rate: $70/hr - $75/hr on W2 Due to Client requirement, NO C2C, H1B, TN VISA, CPT OR OPT Must be able to work directly on our W2 with no 3rd party involved! TOP MUST-HAVES: 7+ years of Data Engineering experience to include 3+ years as a Lead Data Engineer or Architect Strong experience designing data lake architecture Experience with layered data models like Bronze / Silver / Gold Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Storage (GCS) or similar cloud object storage Experience designing bucket structure, naming conventions, lifecycle / retention policies, access controls Hands-on experience with Parquet, Avro, ORC Strong understanding of compression, partitioning, backfills, and large-scale data organization Ability to design curated data models for analytics / BI reporting
