Role description
We're looking for an experienced Data Architect / Data Modeler with strong Data Engineering expertise to join a leading Financial Services client. If you have a passion for designing scalable cloud data platforms, modern data architectures, and enterprise data models, we'd love to connect!
Required Skills:
• 8–10+ years of Data Architecture & Data Modeling experience
• Hands-on Data Engineering (ETL/ELT, Data Pipelines, Data Integration)
• Cloud Data Platforms – Snowflake, Databricks (or similar)
• Strong SQL, Python, PySpark/Snowpark
• Experience with dbt for data transformation & ELT development
• Data Lake, Lakehouse & Enterprise Data Warehouse Architecture
• Master Data Management (MDM) & Data Governance
• Metadata, Data Lineage & Data Quality frameworks
• Cloud Platforms – Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Kafka, Spark Streaming, API Integrations (preferred)
• Financial Services / Banking / Wealth Management domain experience required
What You'll Do:
• Design enterprise-scale cloud data architectures and data models
• Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data platforms
• Support cloud migration and enterprise modernization initiatives
• Implement governance, security, metadata, and data quality frameworks
• Partner with business, architecture, and analytics teams to deliver scalable data solutions
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
