Data Architect

Responsibilities Design and implement database solutions and models for efficient data storage and retrieval Assess database structural needs by analyzing operations, applications, and business requirements Prepare detailed database design and architecture reports for management and project reviews Ensure all data designs and solutions comply with NiSource data standards and policies Requirements 7+ years of experience in a Data Architecture role (10+ years total experience in Information Technology preferred) Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable data architectures that meet long-term business intelligence needs Strong ability to create end-to-end technical plans that align with organizational goals Advanced data analysis skills with Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and automation techniques Proficiency in developing dashboards and reports in Power BI, tailored for executive and HR audiences Strong knowledge of database structures, relational systems, and data mining techniques Experience in IT systems design and architecture across diverse hardware and software platforms Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power BI, Access, Word, Outlook, Teams) Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple data streams and translate findings into actionable insights Nice to Have Familiarity with standards and best practices bodies Knowledge of the Energy Industry Job Type: Contract Pay: $67.00 - $73.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Application Question(s): Only Green Cards and Citizens can apply for his job.
