Role description
Description Key Responsibilities: โ€ข Design and implement enterprise data warehouse architecture on Snowflake, including dimensional models, data governance frameworks, and integration patterns that support analytics and business intelligence across 8,000+ healthcare communities โ€ข Lead the migration of legacy reporting infrastructure to modern cloud-based analytics platform, including ETL/ELT pipeline design, business logic extraction, and data quality validation โ€ข Architect semantic models and dashboard framework to replace existing fixed reporting tools and templates with consolidated, interactive analytics experiences โ€ข Own end-to-end program delivery including timeline management, risk mitigation, stakeholder coordination across clinical, operations, and compliance teams, and technical decision-making โ€ข Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, operations, finance, and compliance stakeholders to translate business needs and embedded application logic into scalable data models and transformations โ€ข Mentor and provide technical direction to data engineers and BI developers, establishing development standards, code review practices, and documentation requirements โ€ข Evaluate and select ETL/ELT tooling, ensuring HIPAA compliance and PHI data security controls throughout the data platform โ€ข Establish data quality frameworks, data lineage documentation, and master data management practices to ensure accuracy and trustworthiness of analytics โ€ข Optimize query performance, indexing strategies, and data retrieval processes to ensure sub-second dashboard response times Requirements What We're Looking For: โ€ข 8+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise data warehouse solutions, with deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, dimensional modeling, and cloud data platforms โ€ข Proven track record leading data migration initiatives at scale, particularly migrations from legacy reporting systems (SSRS, Crystal Reports, or similar) to modern BI platforms โ€ข Strong Power BI platform knowledge including semantic model design, DAX optimization, and enterprise deployment patterns โ€ข Hands-on experience with SQL Server data extraction, ETL/ELT tools (dbt strongly preferred), and modern data engineering practices โ€ข Demonstrated ability to own both technical architecture and program deliveryโ€”you've successfully managed timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations on complex data initiatives with hard deadlines โ€ข Experience translating embedded business logic from application code into maintainable data layer transformations โ€ข Strong understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and master data management principles โ€ข Experience with performance optimization including query tuning, indexing strategies, and data retrieval optimization โ€ข Healthcare or senior living industry experience strongly preferred; familiarity with EHR systems, clinical workflows, regulatory compliance requirements, and PHI data handling โ€ข Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build consensus across diverse teams โ€ข Experience with real-time data pipelines or streaming architectures (Kafka, event-driven patterns) is a plus Why Join Residex? โ€ข Purpose That Matters: Be part of a mission that directly impacts the quality of life for seniors and the caregivers who serve them. โ€ข Real Platform Ownership: Own the future of our data platform and help shape the technology stack, analytics experience, and innovation roadmap. โ€ข High-Trust Leadership: Work shoulder-to-shoulder with a CPO and executive team that values autonomy, vision, and results. โ€ข Rapid Growth, Real Impact: Join at a high-growth inflection point with the resources, customers, and market tailwinds to go big. โ€ข A Culture of Craft and Care: We take pride in what we build and care deeply about the people we build it for---and with.
