β’ We are seeking a hands-on, certified expert Data Architect with deep specialization in population health data and value-based performance management (VBPM), particularly within the EPIC ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, healthcare data modeling, and reporting, with a keen understanding of patient care, engagement, care coordination, and value-based care and risk-sharing
models.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Lead the architectural design and integration of population health and EPIC Caboodle data models.
β’ Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data models and ETL pipelines supporting population health and value-based care initiatives.
β’ Translate healthcare and clinical requirements into actionable data architecture strategies.
β’ Collaborate with clinical, analytics, and IT teams to support initiatives in care coordination, HEDIS, SDoH, and risk management.
β’ Drive the reporting framework using Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and Power Pivot.
β’ Manage and maintain SQL Server environments and develop SSIS packages for complex data
processing tasks.
β’ Ensure data quality through cleansing processes and enforce data governance principles.
β’ Support conversion efforts and go-live activities through data validation, migration, and integration strategies.
Required Skills & Experience:
β’ Certification in EPIC with experience in Caboodle Received Claims data model.
β’ Deep understanding of healthcare delivery models including Value-Based Care, Risk Sharing, Care Coordination, Patient Engagement, and HEDIS metrics.
β’ Strong experience with EMR and claims data, ICD/healthcare coding, social determinants of health (SDoH), and public health databases.
β’ Experience or familiarity with Arcadia Analytics Platform for population health reporting.
β’ Experience with EPIC EMR reporting, particularly using Power BI.
Expertise in:
β’ Data modeling and architecture
β’ SQL database management and query optimization
β’ ETL tools such as SSIS, Matillion, etc.
β’ Data visualization and transformation tools including Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, and DAX.
β’ Strong understanding of data governance principles and efficient data model design.
