Architecture design 3 years Typical Day - Understand information needs of the Studio - Determine authoritative data sources - Model data and information - Architect and systems and specify solutions to fulfill information needs and business requirements β€’ Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to support by preparing and managing data for analytics, reporting, and downstream use across AI/ML, marketing, and product systems. β€’ Key projects: This role will contribute to the refactoring and redesign of the game’s commerce and economy systems, with a focus on improving how data supports monetization and creator-driven experiences. Contribute to advancing the overall analytics environment by designing scalable, future-proof data solutions that better support the studio’s evolving needs. β€’ Disqualifiers: Repetitive, overly long, or generic or keyword heavy resumes that lack context on impact or outcomes (ex, just listing tools/tech without explaining business value) will likely be disqualified β€’ Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain resumes that clearly demonstrate how their work drives business impact (ex. improved performance, enabled decision making, supported marketing or product outcomes) and show strong critical thinking and problem solving in how they present their experience. If needed, a second round with an FTE. β€’ Required Candidate Preparation: NA Responsibilities β€’ Build subject matter expertise of our business and data domains to collaborate with data consumers and stakeholders to understand their information needs and assist them with data access. β€’ Identify, define, and design Features for Analytics Environment to meet data consumers’ information needs. β€’ Map business opportunities to appropriate data architecture patterns and evolve data architecture as business strategies and technologies mature β€’ Identify and analyze multi-structured data or metadata from a variety of sources to select and model the best data which fulfills the analytics requirements. β€’ Design adaptable data models, architect dataflows, and develop systems to deliver scalable solutions for analytics, processes, and machine learning. β€’ Define governed access patterns with specifications for implementation. β€’ Unify collections of data requirements for key data concepts across the enterprise, harmonizing business definitions and semantics, and specifying data designs expressed as business semantic models, data models, lifecycle models, taxonomies, etc. β€’ Guide the successful execution of data architecture vision through adoption of governance principles and practices β€’ Build & maintain Reference Model Architecture and Standards for communicating direction of Information Architecture Required Qualifications β€’ Undergraduate degree AND 5+ years experience in data/analytics/information architecture, or related software development work OR Graduate degree AND 3+ years experience in data/analytics/information architecture or related software development work OR equivalent experience. β€’ 2+ years working as a Data Architect, Analytics Architect, Information Architect or equivalent on large enterprise systems with a wide range of data sources. β€’ Demonstrated capability to assess complex systems and information landscapes, translating business concepts into coherent data and analytics architectures. β€’ Critical thinker and problem solver who brings a creative and open mindset to deliver high impact data products and analytics solutions. β€’ Data analysis and exploration skills to identify, select and model data for analytics. β€’ Proficient with SQL; Working knowledge of Python β€’ General video game domain knowledge Preferred Qualifications β€’ Polyglot data modeling knowledge and skills β€’ Expert with SQL and intermediate python skills for data transformation and automation β€’ Experience building or managing video game commerce systems and economies β€’ Experience leveraging AI products to accelerate analysis, improve data quality, and streamline delivery. β€’ Working knowledge of DevOps and DataOps.
