Role description

We are hiring a Data Analyst Consultant for our Government client in San Francisco. The consultant will need to work on-site in San Francisco 4 days per week.
The consultant will:
• Support the development of and validate data maintenance extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes.
• Monitor and maintain Oracle and Databricks databases, ensuring data integrity; perform data manipulation to prepare clean and accurate datasets for analysis.
• Update curb regulation and asset datasets according to standard operating procedures.
• Develop data visualizations and dashboards to meet user needs using tools such as ESRI Experience Builder and Microsoft Power BI; write clear and concise reports to communicate findings.
• Work with large geospatial datasets using ArcGIS to support spatial analysis and decision making; test and enhance ESRI tools to edit spatial and tabular data.
• Reconcile sign asset data from internal asset management system and external data collection. Use spatial and attribute joins iteratively to meet completeness thresholds determined by stakeholders.
• Reconcile and consolidate historical traffic count data into a new enterprise schema.
• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and higher management, to understand data needs and provide insights.
• Adapt to changing priorities by effectively prioritizing different production tasks and ad hoc analysis to meet deadlines and project requirements.
Required skills:
• Oracle SQL, Python, Advanced Excel functions, Tableau, Power BI
• ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ESRI ArcGIS Online, and basic data analysis skills
Desired skills/experience:
• Salesforce
• ESRI Experience Builder
• Experience developing data maintenance workflows
• Experience with transportation data, including curb regulations.
