Adecco is seeking a Data Automation Specialist to join our clients growing team. This role is critical in enabling seamless data workflows behind the scenes to support customer engagement initiativesβsuch as powering cart reminders and other automated communications. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable moving large datasets across systems, and skilled at building efficient pipelines that translate business needs into reliable data solutions.
This role is hybrid in NYC. Please only local candidates apply. The pay range for this role is between $35-$40hr.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Leverage SQL and Python to build, transform, package, and deliver data that supports core business functions.
β’ Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions.
β’ Automate and optimize workflows to streamline repetitive processes and improve data reliability.
β’ Set up and maintain data pipelines to move large datasets efficiently between systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
β’ Contribute to version control and collaborative coding practices using Git.
β’ Support the development of backend data logic for customer-facing features such as automated email triggers and reminders.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
β’ Proficiency in SQL and Python
β’ Experience with Git for version control
β’ 0β3 years of full-time experience in a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or related role
Nice-to-Haves:
β’ Experience with JSON data handling
β’ Familiarity with Amazon S3
β’ Exposure to AWS SageMaker and Jupyter Notebooks
β’ Experience developing ETL pipelines or using orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt)
β’ Undergraduate or graduate degree in economics, finance, computer science, math, statistics, engineering, or other quantitative disciplines
