Summary:
We are seeking a Data Automation & Visualization Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust, end-to-end data workflows that support the ingestion, transformation, analysis, and visualization of key performance indicators (KPIs). This role requires strong proficiency in Python, SQL and Power BI, as well as experience with automation frameworks and dashboarding tools to streamline recurring reporting and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop fully automated data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and analyzing structured and semi-structured data.
• Create and maintain Python scripts for data cleansing, normalization, and transformation using libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Build and deploy dynamic visualizations and dashboards to report KPIs using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or custom solutions.
• Automate recurring reporting workflows through batch processing, job schedulers, and orchestration tools.
• Work with large datasets including CSV files and time-series network logs to extract actionable insights.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to align data structures with reporting and analysis goals.
• Monitor and optimize workflow performance to ensure scalability and reliability in production environments. Required Skills and Experience
• Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases (RDMS and SQL-based systems).
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling principles.
• Advanced Python programming skills, particularly in data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy) and visualization (Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Proven experience designing and deploying end-to-end automation pipelines from raw data ingestion to final dashboard/report delivery.
• Hands-on experience working with large-scale datasets, especially CSV files and time-series data from system/network logs.
• Exposure to workflow automation and orchestration frameworks, such as Apache Airflow or Prefect.
• Experience using dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or developing custom web-based dashboards.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $90k - $100k/yr. This role is also eligible for a performance-based incentive plan. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits including medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid holidays, open paid time off, four weeks paid parental leave, 401(k) plan participation, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, mobile phone reimbursement and wellness reimbursement.
