About The Opportunity

What You Would Do

• Gathering and documenting data requirements from stakeholders across business and technical teams
• Analysing data quality and identifying improvements to data pipelines and architectures
• Aligning data solutions with business objectives and technical constraints
• Collaborating with engineers, architects and product teams to scope data-driven initiatives
• Creating clear specifications and documentation (BPMN, UML) for data workflows and requirements
• Supporting the design and optimisation of data pipelines and data integration points
• Engaging with stakeholders to understand current and future data needs
• Contributing to the evaluation of data platforms, tools and infrastructure
What You Could Bring
Most roles of this type require the following:
• Strong experience in data requirements gathering and analysis
• Understanding of data pipelines, data quality principles and data architecture concepts
• Familiarity with at least one modern cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Knowledge of APIs and microservices concepts and their role in data integration
• Experience with databases and SQL
• Proficiency in documentation methods such as BPMN and UML
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Ability to work across business analysis, technical design and data disciplines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Nice-to-have experience could include:
• Hands-on experience with data tools such as Power BI, data pipeline orchestration or ETL frameworks
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) or infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
• Experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC or SAP RISE
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps concepts
• Programming experience in languages such as Python, Java or similar
• Understanding of distributed systems and modern data architectures
