Data Business Analyst

Data Business Analyst £500/day, Inside IR35 | Remote - UK We're seeking experienced Data Business Analysts to join a major data transformation programme. You'll work closely with Data Product Owners, Delivery Managers, SMEs, and engineering teams to analyse source systems, document data flows, and translate business requirements into actionable data solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Engage with business SMEs to understand source systems, reporting, and data usage • Document current-state (AS-IS) data flows and reporting landscapes • Gather, analyse, and refine requirements for Data Lake provisioning initiatives • Support data mapping and source-to-target analysis • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate data model alignment Essential Skills: • Strong Data Business Analysis experience • Proven stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills • Source system and reporting analysis expertise • Experience documenting data flows and business processes • Strong requirements gathering and documentation capability • SQL and data analysis skills • Agile delivery experience Desirable: • Data mapping and source-to-target lineage experience • Common Data Model/enterprise data model exposure • Experience working within Data Lake environments
