Role description
Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Baltimore, MD that is seeking a Data Cleanup. Responsibilities:
β’ Clean, standardize, and validate large volumes of HR and payroll data for system migration
β’ Analyze data inconsistencies and apply standardized formatting across multiple fields (e.g., addresses, locations, employee records)
β’ Resolve data discrepancies such as duplicate formats, inconsistent naming conventions, and incomplete records
β’ Support end-to-end data conversion activities from legacy systems
β’ Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement data standards and best practices
β’ Perform quality checks and audits to ensure data integrity and readiness for system implementation
β’ Document data cleanup processes and maintain clear records of changes and standards applied
β’ Assist with ongoing data validation and post-conversion support as needed
Requirements
β’ Experience supporting data cleanup, migration, or system conversions
β’ Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies at scale
β’ Experience working with large datasets (e.g., thousands of employee records)
β’ Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as SAP, Workday, or similar systems
β’ Advanced Excel skills (data manipulation, validation, cleansing techniques)
β’ Ability to follow defined data governance standards and contribute to standardization efforts
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
