Data Consultant

Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Data Consultant to join their team. As a Data Consultant, you will be part of the Global Banking and Markets team supporting the GBAM International DQCE group. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Data Consultant Location: Charlotte, NC Local Candidates Only (3 days onsite per week required) What's the Job? • Assist in delivering comprehensive technical data management and oversight. • Support the application of Enterprise Data Management and Regulatory Reporting standards. • Engage in data mining and reporting using tools such as Excel and Tableau. • Facilitate effective communication of complex technical messages across the organization. • Conduct independent research into data problems, determining root causes and proposing solutions. What's Needed? • 5+ years of relevant technical experience, preferably in Global Markets or Global Banking. • Proficiency in data mining/analytics tools such as Toad, Excel, Tableau, and SQL. • Experience in building and maintaining Tableau reporting from various data sources. • General knowledge of banking processes and tools including PPRT, CECE, and TPAS. • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
