Senior Data Consultant Day rate - TBD (Outside IR35) Remote Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: 1 - 3 months Our client, a well-established UK charity, is seeking an experienced Data Consultant for a short-term contract to lead a critical data warehouse initiative. As the Senior Data Consultant, you will assess the organisation's current data landscape, lead an RFI/RFP process for a potential data warehouse solution, and provide strategic recommendations to improve data-driven decision making across multiple departments. Key Responsibilities: • Evaluate existing data systems and strategies • Lead and manage an RFI/RFP process for a data warehouse solution • Develop a comprehensive business case for board approval • Provide expert guidance on data consolidation and cross-system insights • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Required Skills and Experience: • Proven experience in designing and implementing data warehouses, particularly with legacy systems • Strong understanding of charity-specific data needs (e.g., gift aid) • Expertise in SQL, APIs, and database management • Proficiency with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment Contract Details: • Duration: 4 - 6 weeks (possibility of part-time over 2-3 months) • Start Date: ASAP • Location: Remote (In the UK) • Rate: Competitive day rate, commensurate with experience This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned data professional to make a significant impact in a short timeframe, working with a reputable charitable organisation.
