• • About The Role • • As a Data Conversion Analyst at our client, you will play a pivotal role in a government Eligibility System modernization initiative, helping to migrate critical eligibility and benefits data from legacy mainframe systems to a new, cloud-hosted platform. This hands-on position is essential to ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of data as it moves into a unified eligibility platform, directly impacting the success of this high-profile public sector transformation. You will join a collaborative Data Conversion Team, focusing on data mapping, transformation, ETL execution, and validation, with opportunities to shape technical documentation and drive process improvements throughout the migration lifecycle. • • About You • • • Perform detailed source-to-target data mapping from multiple legacy databases into a consolidated eligibility platform • Create and maintain comprehensive mapping documents and technical design artifacts to support migration activities • Conduct data profiling, normalization, and validation to ensure data quality and readiness for migration • Support the development, execution, and troubleshooting of ETL processes for large-scale data conversion • Run automation scripts and assist with the execution of data conversion cycles to streamline migration efforts • Validate and reconcile migrated data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements • Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies and quality issues throughout the migration process • Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, functional, and testing teams to align on data requirements and resolve technical challenges • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of data dictionaries and conversion documentation for ongoing reference and auditability • Demonstrate proficiency with SQL, ETL tools, and data migration best practices, ideally within cloud environments • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience in large-scale data migration or modernization projects Your expertise will ensure a seamless and accurate data migration, directly supporting the modernization of vital public services.
