Data Engineer

Position: Data Engineer Compensation: $70 - $82 /hour Location: Overland Park, Kansas Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Data Engineer to join their team! Join a dynamic team as a Senior Data Engineer, where you'll design and build scalable data solutions within a Microsoft Fabric environment. This is a hands-on and strategic role, perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative, supportive team. Key Responsibilities & Duties: • Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Azure tools • Design scalable data solutions across Lakehouse and SQL-based environments • Write and optimize complex SQL (stored procedures, queries, performance tuning) • Implement data quality checks and validation within pipelines • Partner with analytics and business teams to translate needs into technical solutions • Apply modern data modeling approaches (e.g., Medallion-style architectures) • Support CI/CD and deployment processes using Azure DevOps and Git Required Qualifications & Experience: • 5–7+ years in data engineering or similar role • Strong SQL Server and T-SQL experience • Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Factory • Proficiency in Python (PySpark preferred) • Understanding of modern cloud data architecture • Strong communication and problem-solving skills Nice to Have Skills & Experience: • Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools • Familiarity with modern data architecture patterns (Medallion, Data Vault, etc.) • Azure certifications or DevOps experience Perks & Benefits: • 3 different medical health insurance plans, dental, and vision insurance • Voluntary and Long-term disability insurance • Paid time off, 401k, and holiday pay • Weekly direct deposit or pay card deposit If you are interested in learning more about the Data Engineer opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.
