Position Description:Employees in this job function are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data solutions including data infrastructure, pipelines, etc. for collecting, storing, processing and analyzing large volumes of data efficiently and accurately Key Responsibilities: 1) Partner with business, technology, and finance stakeholders to deeply understand complex business processes and translate them into detailed, actionable technical requirements. 2) Design, build and maintain reliable, efficient and scalable data infrastructure for data collection, storage, transformation, and analysis 3) Plan, design, build and maintain scalable data solutions including data pipelines, data models, and applications for efficient and reliable data workflow 4) Design, implement and maintain existing and future data platforms like data warehouses, data lakes, data lakehouse etc. for structured and unstructured data 5) Design and develop analytical tools, algorithms, and programs to support data engineering activities like writing scripts and automating tasks 6) Ensure optimum performance and identify improvement opportunities 7) Lead identification and validation of appropriate source systems within our BigQuery environment, leveraging SME relationships and documenting findings for future reuse. 8) Collaborate with our data architect to ensure all delivered solutions align with enterprise warehouse standards and promote reusable components. 9) Create comprehensive documentation including business requirement documents, data dictionaries, and implementation guides that reduce knowledge transfer overheadSkills Required:SQL, Python, GitHubSkills Preferred:Google Cloud Platform, Tekton, Data Analysis, Financial Planning, Financial AnalysisExperience Required:Engineer 2 Exp: 4+ years Data Engineering work experienceExperience Preferred:Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) Airflow/Astronomer/Composer Terraform Git TektonEducation Required:Bachelors DegreeEducation Preferred:Additional Safety Training/Licensing/Personal Protection Requirements:Additional Information :onsite 4 days per week
