Role description
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and IBM DataStage to support data integration efforts for one of our healthcare clients. This role focuses on enhancing existing data pipelines and developing new ones to ensure seamless data flow and system alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Modify existing Databricks data models, extracts, and feeds to incorporate Doylestown data.
β’ Design and develop new Databricks data models, extracts, and feeds to address prioritized data gaps between Doylestown and Penn DNA.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to validate newly created or updated data objects, ensuring they meet business requirements and user expectations.
β’ Work with Azure Data Factory to orchestrate and automate data workflows.
β’ Utilize IBM DataStage for ETL processes as needed to support integration efforts.
β’ Maintain documentation for all data processes and models to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
Qualifications:
β’ Proven experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and IBM DataStage.
β’ Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data validation techniques.
β’ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
β’ Experience in healthcare data or similar domains is a plus.
