Role Overview
The Senior Data Engineer will join an enterprise data and analytics team responsible for building and optimizing scalable data solutions within a modern cloud-based big data environment. This role focuses on designing high-performance data pipelines, improving data quality, and supporting enterprise analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using modern big data technologies
• Build and optimize data transformation processes using Python (PySpark) and SQL
• Develop and support data models for analytics and reporting (relational and dimensional/Kimball)
• Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and security across the data platform
Technical Qualifications
• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and PowerBI
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with data pipeline development, ETL/ELT processes, and large-scale data environments
• Experience building out CI/CD pipelines
