Data Engineer
Full Location – Client location in Bath. need 1-2 days travel to client office
inside IR35
Contract duration – 6 months (renewable)
Years of Experience – 8+
The data engineer will work as part of a team on the design and implementation of the legacy on-premise data warehouse migration (implemented in SQL Server) to an AWS equivalent. The role requires technical expertise in both source technology (SQL Server, t-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI) and target technology (AWS Glue, Athena, Athena SQL, Spark SQL).
Knowledge and Experience - essential
• T-SQL
• SSIS
• SQL Server
• AWS Glue ETL, Step Functions, Lambda
• AWS Athena
• AWS RDS
• Athena SQL
• Spark SQL
