Job Title: Data Engineer Experience: 12+ Years Location: Dallas, TX Contract Duration: Long Term Work Time: US Time Zone Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced Data Migration and Testing Specialist with strong expertise in SQL, ETL tools, Cloud/On-Prem technologies, and large-scale application testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data migration, transformation testing, and database management across diverse platforms, with proficiency in AWS and Python scripting. Responsibilities • Extensive experience in data migration (Teradata to Redshift preferred) • Strong background in testing with SQL, Unix, and Linux scripting • Hands-on experience testing Cloud and On-Prem ETL tools (Abinitio, Informatica, SSIS, Datastage, Alteryx, Glu) • Expertise in DBMS such as Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, DB2, Redshift, Postgres, and Sybase • Proficiency in Python scripting, AWS, and cloud technologies • Experience with AWS services such as Athena, EMR, and Redshift • Skilled in large-scale application development testing (Cloud and On-Prem Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Science projects) • Proven track record of working on multi-year, large-scale projects • Advanced technical skills with hands-on SQL query testing • Strong experience in both data migration and transformation testing Skills & Requirements • Data Migration • SQL, Unix/Linux Scripting • ETL Testing (Abinitio, Informatica, SSIS, Datastage, Alteryx, Glu) • Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, DB2, Redshift, Postgres, Sybase • Python Scripting • AWS (Athena, EMR, Redshift) • Cloud Technologies • Data Warehouse Testing • Data Lake Testing • Data Science Testing • Large-Scale Project Experience
