Job Description
Design and maintain various databases, including stored procedures, indexing, and data models.
Develop and optimize ETL pipelines and workflows using SSIS, Python, PySpark, and SQL Server.
Execute large-scale data migrations, including cleansing, validation, and transformation across enterprise systems.
Develop and optimize SQL scripts and stored procedures to support data conversion, validation, and ongoing processing needs.
Build data ingestion and transformation workflows across raw, staging, curated, and analytics layers.
Build and maintain various reporting solutions using SSRS and PowerBI.
Design and implement logical and physical data models (ERDs) for various applications.
Develop stored procedures, views, SQL scripts, and other database components supporting transactional and reporting systems.
Provide production support, including troubleshooting performance issues and on-call support when needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in Agile ceremonies, development activities, code reviews, and release cycles.
Provide knowledge transfer.
Desired Skills
10+ years of experience in database development or data engineering.
Expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL and performance tuning.
Experience with ETL tools (SSIS), Python, or PySpark.
Strong background in data modeling and data integration.
Experience with reporting tools (SSRS, PowerBI).
Working knowledge of DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Jenkins.
Experience supporting critical applications in financial, government, or legal industries.
