Role description
Data Engineer - Major Premier League Football Club 📍 London, onsite 3 days/week 💷 circa £420/day (rate basis TBC) 🏢 Major enterprise data transformation programme ⏳ 6 months Initially We're looking for a Data Engineer to join a delivery squad maturing a modern, governed data warehouse environment, building trusted, single source of truth data products across the business. What you'll do • Design and maintain scalable analytics data models in Snowflake and dbt • Build trusted single source of truth datasets and business facing data products • Manage ingestion and activation workflows via Fivetran and Hightouch • Support Tableau semantic layer design and reporting performance • Implement testing, documentation, and governance standards across the analytics layer • Partner with analysts, integration engineers, and platform teams to onboard new data sources What you'll need • 4+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or modern BI engineering • Strong hands on Snowflake and advanced dbt (modular modeling, testing, deployments) • Strong SQL, dimensional modeling, and semantic layer experience • Experience with Tableau and modern ELT/orchestration tooling Nice to have: exposure to Airflow/Dagster, Salesforce ecosystems, or data observability/lineage tooling.
