Location: Peoria, IL (On-site)
Schedule: Monday - Friday (7am - 3pm CST)
Job Type: W2 Contract; potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: $68 - 72/hourly with optional benefits packages including 401k, PTO, and medical insurance
Overview:
This role supports the Earthmoving Division (EMD) Finance organization, contributing to analytics across the Construction Industries (CI) segment. The engineer will collaborate with internal customers, analysts, scientists, and engineers to transform complex business challenges into intuitive data solutions.
Key Contributions:
β’ Design, orchestrate, and build complex data pipelines.
β’ Gather and transform raw business data into scalable, user-friendly dashboards.
β’ Automate manual processes and reduce technical debt across data workflows.
Job Responsibilities:
β’ Translate business questions into technical requirements for flexible and sustainable data products.
β’ Identify gaps in processes and data sources, recommending and implementing improvements.
β’ Build dynamic and insightful reports using Microsoft Power BI.
β’ Participate in weekly stand-ups to share deliverable updates and demos.
β’ Maintain high levels of collaboration with EMD analytics and Aftermarket business partners.
Education & Experience:
β’ Associate degree or higher (Bachelorβs preferred).
β’ 5β7 years of relevant experience (or ~3 years with Masterβs degree).
β’ Internships do not count toward work experience.
Required Technical Skills:
β’ Proficiency in SQL.
β’ Expertise with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
β’ Experience with Python. (Preferred)
Required Soft Skills:
β’ Strong business data analysis capabilities.
β’ High attention to detail and accuracy.
β’ Ability to assess business needs and define technical requirements.
β’ Effective communication with technical and non-technical teams.
β’ Strong written and verbal skills.
β’ Proven collaboration across departments and stakeholders.
