Role description
Job Title: Azure SQL Data Engineer Location: On-Site – Houston, TX Type: Full-Time Job Overview: We’re looking for a hands-on Data Engineer with strong skills in Azure SQL, SQL Server, ETL/ELT, and data modeling. This role will focus on designing and maintaining system integrations, supporting automation, and ensuring the integrity and performance of data platforms. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Design, develop, and maintain Azure SQL and SQL Server databases and integrations β€’ Build and support ETL/ELT pipelines and scalable data models β€’ Maintain data integrity, enforce standards, and support audits β€’ Develop automation and reporting solutions to improve business processes β€’ Collaborate across teams to support integration efforts and project delivery β€’ Create and maintain technical documentation Required Skills: β€’ Proficiency in Azure SQL and SQL Server β€’ Strong ETL/ELT and data modeling experience β€’ Familiarity with Azure DevOps, PowerApps, Power Automate, and SharePoint β€’ Experience with C# and object-oriented programming principles β€’ Solid understanding of DevOps and infrastructure-as-code patterns
