Data Engineer (AWS)
Location: 213 Washington Street Newark NJ (Hybrid 3 days a week onsite)
Contract to Hire: 12+ Month W2 Contract to Hire and convert to FTE (No C2C)
Salary: 95k-145k

Overview:
Prudential is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to support enterprise data initiatives focused on Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. This role plays a key part in transforming data into actionable insights through advanced modeling and reporting, while working within a cloud-first ecosystem powered by AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design and develop scalable data models and dashboards using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
β’ Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver reporting solutions across both modeling and visualization layers
β’ Optimize data pipelines and architecture to support high-volume, cloud-hosted datasets
β’ Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions
β’ Ensure data integrity, performance, and usability across reporting platforms
Required Skills & Experience:
β’ Strong proficiency in Power BI (or other data visualization/dashboard tools), with a focus on dashboard development and data visualization
β’ Solid understanding of data modeling and reporting architecture
β’ Familiarity with AWS infrastructureβ90% of data is hosted on AWS
Bonus Skills
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including prior implementation work
