Role description
Title: Data Engineer
Location: Remote (UK Region)
Expectations:
β’ Candidates must be willing to work overlapping hours with Eastern and/or UK time zones.
β’ Strong knowledge of data engineering tools such as Python, R and SQL for data processing.
β’ Strong proficiency with AWS services particularly S3, Redshift, FSx, Glue, Lambda.
β’ Strong proficiency with relational databases.
β’ Strong background in data modeling and database design.
β’ Familiarity with unstructured database technologies (e.g. NoSQL) and other database types (e.g. Graph).
β’ Familiarity with Containerization such as Docker and EKS/Kubernetes.
β’ Familiarity with one or more RnD research process and associated regulatory requirements.
β’ Exposure to healthcare data standards (CDISC, HL7, FHIR, SNOMED CT, OMOP, DICOM).
β’ Exposure to big data technologies and handling.
β’ Knowledge of machine learning operations (MLOps) and model deployment.
β’ Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
β’ Excellent communication skills and collaboration skills.
β’ Experience working in an Agile development environment.
