Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with extensive expertise in Ab Initio ETL design and development to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining enterprise data warehouse (EDW) processes, analyzing business requirements, and ensuring optimal performance of ETL workflows. Key Responsibilities β€’ Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Ab Initio. β€’ Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand business requirements, resolve production issues, and translate needs into data specifications. β€’ Analyze Autosys schedules and ensure smooth execution of EDW batch processes. β€’ Identify and resolve performance issues, and recommend/implement performance tuning techniques. β€’ Execute change control and promotion tasks within the EDW environment. β€’ Support production moves following Release and Change Management processes. β€’ Provide accurate development effort estimates for enhancements. β€’ Enhance ETL code and develop associated test plans. β€’ Gather requirements and prepare detailed ETL specification documents. β€’ Conduct in-depth data analysis to deliver solutions related to Provider, Group, Member, Product, Accounting, and Consumer Engagement data. Technical Skills & Qualifications β€’ 10+ years of Ab Initio development and maintenance experience. β€’ Strong proficiency in SQL and ETL concepts. β€’ Hands-on experience with Teradata SQL Assistant, SQL Server, and other database clients. β€’ Strong knowledge of data analysis and integration. β€’ Experience working with scheduling tools such as Autosys. β€’ Solid understanding of SDLC processes.
