Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with extensive expertise in Ab Initio ETL design and development to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining enterprise data warehouse (EDW) processes, analyzing business requirements, and ensuring optimal performance of ETL workflows. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Ab Initio. • Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand business requirements, resolve production issues, and translate needs into data specifications. • Analyze Autosys schedules and ensure smooth execution of EDW batch processes. • Identify and resolve performance issues, and recommend/implement performance tuning techniques. • Execute change control and promotion tasks within the EDW environment. • Support production moves following Release and Change Management processes. • Provide accurate development effort estimates for enhancements. • Enhance ETL code and develop associated test plans. • Gather requirements and prepare detailed ETL specification documents. • Conduct in-depth data analysis to deliver solutions related to Provider, Group, Member, Product, Accounting, and Consumer Engagement data. Technical Skills & Qualifications • 10+ years of Ab Initio development and maintenance experience. • Strong proficiency in SQL and ETL concepts. • Hands-on experience with Teradata SQL Assistant, SQL Server, and other database clients. • Strong knowledge of data analysis and integration. • Experience working with scheduling tools such as Autosys. • Solid understanding of SDLC processes.
