Job Title: Data Engineer – AI Platform Location: Remote (United States) Employment Type: Contract (W2 Only) Job Summary We are seeking a Data Engineer – AI Platform to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and AI integration workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, SQL, ETL/ELT, cloud platforms, and AI/ML data engineering within enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities • Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and AI integration workflows • Develop ETL/ELT processes and data transformation frameworks • Build feature pipelines and support AI/ML model deployment • Optimize data architecture, performance, and security • Collaborate with Data Scientists, Architects, and Engineering teams • Implement data quality, validation, and governance best practices • Create technical documentation and support Agile development processes Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field • 4–6 years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Integration • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL • Experience with ETL/ELT, feature stores, MLOps, and AI data pipelines • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP • Knowledge of modern data lakehouse architectures • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Preferred Skills • Experience with metadata management and data observability • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML • Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and security • Experience working in Agile environments Work Authorization • W2 Only
