Role description
We are seeking a highly capable Data Engineer to play a hands-on role in designing, building, and delivering scalable data solutions. This position combines deep technical execution with stakeholder collaboration and end-to-end ownership of data pipeline delivery.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Apache Airflow, Python, Snowflake, and Azure, along with a proven ability to manage deployments, ensure data quality, and coordinate across distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Airflow, Python, Snowflake, and Azure
β’ Own end-to-end delivery, including development, testing, deployment, and post-release support
β’ Review, enhance, and maintain code to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability
β’ Manage deployment processes and ensure release readiness across environments
β’ Define and lead testing strategies, including test case reviews and data validation to ensure high data quality
β’ Perform data analysis to support business and technical decision-making
β’ Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Stakeholders, and Engineering Leadership to refine requirements and priorities
β’ Coordinate with offshore engineering teams, including task delegation, code reviews, and QA alignment
β’ Partner closely with Data Modelers to ensure pipelines align with enterprise data architecture
β’ Track progress, manage risks, and provide clear, consolidated status updates to stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
β’ Strong hands-on experience in data engineering and pipeline development
β’ Proficiency in Python for data processing and workflow development
β’ Experience building and orchestrating workflows using Apache Airflow
β’ Solid experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and optimization
β’ Experience working within the Azure cloud ecosystem
β’ Proven experience managing deployments, release cycles, and production support
β’ Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and testing frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience working in onshore/offshore delivery models
β’ Strong leadership and coordination skills in cross-functional environments
β’ Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
β’ Familiarity with modern data architecture patterns and best practices
