YSI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to support the DTSS program at Fort Belvoir, VA. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and functionality of information systems, performing software testing, and recommending workflow and procedural improvements. Roles and Responsibilities: Ensure all information systems products and services meet organizational standards and end-user requirements. Conduct thorough testing to verify software functionality and identify defects. Document and troubleshoot issues, working toward timely resolution. Report progress on issue resolution to management. Develop improvements to existing processes and models for potential future configurations. Perform workflow analysis and recommend quality enhancements. The Data Engineer shall provide an analytics reassessment for the sustainable, repeatable dashboard update process with a focus on data integrity and consistency performance. The Data Engineer shall provide professional services to develop a performance management framework, including metrics development, performance governance support, and other aspects of performance management. This reassessment shall include an evaluation of how and what resources are being used, an inventory of data reports, extracts, and elements from long established systems of records. Qualifications: Active Secret Clearance required. Ability to work onsite at Fort Belvoir, VA - Hybrid Strong experience using Power BI in data analysis/visual analysis/and generating reports Tableau Experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
