RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Engineer in Birmingham, AL. Summary: We are seeking a Digital User Experience (UX) Researcher II/Data & Analytics Analyst III to support a digital business group with a strong focus on data engineering, analytics, and visualization. This role will be instrumental in building and optimizing the infrastructure that powers chatbot and digital tools, enabling analysts, product teams, and stakeholders to derive actionable insights that drive measurable outcomes. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering the chance to contribute to a fast-moving digital environment within a leading enterprise organization. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and optimize data pipelines and visualization tools to support digital initiatives • Partner with product teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver impactful insights • Support process mapping and documentation to improve reporting and analytics workflows • Build scalable data engineering infrastructure that empowers analytics teams • Provide strong data visualization expertise to enhance reporting and product performance REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or related fields • Proficiency with: Python; Power BI (Tableau acceptable, but Power BI preferred); SQL • Strong background in data visualization and reporting • Proven ability to deliver process improvements and document requirements • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Preferred Skills & Experience: • Experience with Snowflake and Snowpark • Familiarity with Tableau • Background in financial services or enterprise environments • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to work independently Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will be a Senior BI Analyst or Data Engineer with proven success in data engineering and visualization. This role is not designed for individuals pursuing a data science career path, but rather those passionate about building analytics infrastructure and delivering business value through data operations. The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
