We’re looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to join an exciting transformation project, helping a client move from legacy SQL-based systems to a modern, scalable Databricks data platform.
This is a delivery-focused, individual contributor role where you’ll be building real solutions.
💡 What you’ll be doing:
• Designing & building Python/SQL data pipelines in Databricks
• Working with real-time energy data (processing, transforming, calculating)
• Migrating away from stored procedure-driven architectures
• Preparing high-quality datasets for Power BI reporting & dashboards
• Supporting business-wide data consumption and insights
🛠️ What we’re looking for:
• Strong experience with Databricks & AWS
• Solid SQL & Python skills
• Working knowledge of Power BI
• Proven ability to build and deliver data solutions hands-on
• Experience with real-time / operational data (energy sector a big plus ⚡)
